Mrs. Kirkland came to Spanish Trails after a hospitalization to treat respiratory failure left her weakened and relied on caregivers for daily activities.  Upon admission, Mrs. Kirkland was experiencing decreased strength, endurance, and was unable to complete activities of daily living without caregiver assistance and was unable to walk.

Fortunately, the dedicated nursing and therapy team at Spanish Trails took charge of Mrs. Kirkland’s care, developing a custom treatment plan. Her persistent efforts, combined with expertise of our team, yielded remarkable results.  Now Mrs. Kirkland is walking over 300 feet with a rolling walker and completing daily dressing task without assistance. We are delighted to announce that Mrs. Kirkland has now returned home to be with family.
